Curry will enter draft

Stephen Curry '10 announced Thursday that he will enter the 2009 NBA draft and intends to hire an agent. Curry, who averaged 28.6 points per game last season, leaves Davidson as the school's all-time leading scorer. DraftExpress.com predicts that Curry will be the ninth pick in the draft. Full story

Admissions aims for 490 to join class of 2013

The whirlwind of students and parents on campus for Decision Davidson last weekend served as a reminder that the Davidson community will welcome 490 fresh faces to campus next August. This year the College admitted 848 students and those accepted through regular decision have until May 1 to accept the offer. Full story

Duke Family Performance Hall transformed itself into a forum of haute couture last Thursday evening, when students packed the space for the Greek Week Fashion Show. The event, sponsored by Dillard’s of Northlake, served as the final contest of Davidson’s third annual Greek Week. Full story

Baseball sweeps UNC-G Spartans

The Davidson baseball team won all three games they played against UNC-Greensboro this weekend at Wilson Field. The Wildcats seemed to feed off the stellar North Carolina weather and the “spring frolics” atmosphere that pervaded campus to put together a great weekend performance. Full story
